Yada goes to Thailand
We’re excited to share with you that a small team from Yada is traveling to Thailand in February for a short-term outreach trip!
We will be working with several local organizations that are fighting against human trafficking in southeast Asia: Bella Goose Coffee, NightLight, Project Rescue, and Abba House. We’ll also meet with other local missionaries we’ve met throughout the years. We have several goals:
To join with these organizations in their outreach to local women and children and to encourage them in their work
To learn more about the problem of trafficking and the ways these organizations are creating solutions against it
To understand the connection between trafficking in Asia and trafficking here in Madison

Amsterdam & Belgium 2024
For the past 13 years, Yada has volunteered and partnered with organizations worldwide to showcase the many ways God is at work. This January 2024, The Yada Project will be embarking on another of these endeavors and taking a team of volunteers to support organizations in Amsterdam and Belgium.
The world famous “Red Light” districts are known for legal prostitution. These places are known by everyone for what they offer (sex), but the women who are “known” and “seen” there, feel the most unknown and unseen of all.
The word “yadá” is Hebrew for “to be known”. This is exactly what we want to show these women … that they are known to us and also to God. Our goal is to awaken value and worth in each woman we meet. She is not just a woman in a window working the red light district. She is an individual with a name, a purpose, and a Creator Who loves her truly.
We have formed partnerships with “The Cleft” in Amsterdam and “Cherut” in Belgium. Through these partnerships, we have found ways to work together to combat the injustice of sexual exploitation and poverty. This is not just a fight for a cause to us, but rather a fight for the dignity and respect of each woman being exploited.
Both of these organizations are well established and known as safe places to women in their communities. They are built around relationship and creating opportunities for work beyond the red light districts.
Yada supports those working on the front lines and strives bring to light the good that is happening in the world. We want to proclaim the Good News of God’s love and the hope we have. Our team will join with these organizations in encouragement by hosting events in Amsterdam and Belgium, inviting women to come and give us the joy of lavishing them with pampering, tasty food, and a chance to be seen and known.
Each individual team member is financially responsible for the costs of their portion of the trip. For a tax deductible gift towards the trip, checks can be sent to:

All proceeds go toward their Trek to End Trafficking!
Mallory
“Every human is created with an inherent worth that the evils of this world seek to destroy. Human trafficking is one of those evils! I see to tend human trafficking because I have been called to rescue the hurting and vulnerable. The desire of my heart is to, by the grace of God, remind people of their worth and help them heal so that they live a life they were created to live.”
“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” ~Psalm 34:18
Amanda
“I care about human trafficking and modern slavery because God cares about them. He has sent us with good news the heals broken hearts, frees captive minds, and replaces darkness with light. Everybody needs to know that - both those caught in trafficking and those that have power together to stop it.”
